The family that plays together…

Think “Old West” and you’ll have a pretty good idea of the many activities around here! From tomahawk throwing to shooting rifles we have a barrel full of games, challenges, and competitions to get your family working together as a team. Also, our 1,175 ft. zip-line and hidden mine shaft are sure to bring a thrill to any age!

At Fort Rock, Boredom is only by choice.

Hiking

Our trails lead the hiker through remote areas of the Ozark National Forest and feature spectacular mountainous terrain, scenic views, lush upland hardwood forests, unique rock outcroppings, and clear mountain streams. The main trail and inside loops are connected to accommodate hikers who want to vary the length of their trips. You can go for hours or just a short 30-minute walk!

Extreme Zipline

Launching from a 24ft. tower on the side of a mountain, and reaching exhilarating speeds of up to 30mph, this 1,175ft. zip-line will test your true grit! Fun for all ages, your 3 year old toddler all the way up to your 103 year old grandma can enjoy this family friendly activity! WATCH THE VIDEO!

Horseback Riding

You will ascend and descend mountainous terrain through the Ozark National Forrest! These gentle horses are used to the trail, but will require your steady horsemanship. The average ride from start to finish is approximately 1 hour. This activity is included at no additional charge for all scheduled camps. WATCH THE VIDEO!

The Lost Mine Shaft

You’re family will love the thrill and excitement of speeding through our 200 ft. long Lost Mine Shaft! Not only will the kids have an absolute blast, but there’s a really good chance mom and dad will want to do it again and again as well!

Shooting + Archery

Ready to tame the Old West? At the rifle range we provide .22 single shot rifles and all necessary ammunition. With professional supervision, your entire family will be safe to enjoy this activity. We will shoot at a variety of targets. Be sure to also test your skills using our long bows on the archery range.

Paddle-boats + Fishing

Take advantage of our beautiful 5-acre lake with your whole family by hopping on our paddle-boats and enjoying the scenic view. Be sure and pack your fishing poles and tackle as the lake and 2 other ponds on the property are nicely stocked! During our camps and retreats, we schedule some free time for you to enjoy the many extra outdoor activities.

Tomahawk Throwing + Skillet Tossin'

We provide the tomahawk and some training…the rest is up to you! While you’re at it, take aim by tossing cast iron skillets toward the target. We provide everything needed to ensure safety in both of these activities.

Volleyball + Horseshoes

Jump onto our new sand court and enjoy a game of volleyball or toss horseshoes with friends and family while you take in beautiful mountain views.

Yeah, we basically have the best zip-line in the entire state of Arkansas.
